Betty’s Story
Betty got off work early, so she decided to make a quick stop at the grocery store to pick up the ingredients for a stew she’d been craving. She decided she’d just run in, grab what she needed, and run back out, giving herself plenty of time to start cooking. Betty made mental ingredient list in her head and walked into the store.
After 15 minutes of shopping, she’d checked out and was on her way back to her car. She opened her purse to reach for her keys. Not there. She looked around to see if she’d dropped them. No luck. She glanced inside her car and saw them sitting in her cup holder, so she tried to open the door, but it was locked.
Neil’s Story
Neil decided he’d start his weekend off by going out for a jog before the sun came up on Saturday morning. Always the early riser, he set his alarm for 4:00 a.m. with a goal of being out the door by 4:15.
He laced up his jogging shoes, grabbed his iPhone and headphones, and set out. After about an hour, Niel headed back home. As he approached his house, he had that sinking feeling. “Oh no, I forgot my keys!” He tried the front door, but it was locked, so he want around back. Unfortunately, it was also locked.
Julie’s Story
Julie worked the evening shift at a Felton restaurant. Her shift ended at midnight, so she grabbed her belongings, shut off the lights, and locked the door. As she walked to her car, she searched in her purse for her car keys. She pulled them out, put the key in the lock, started turning and- SNAP.
The key broke off in the lock.
